From Thursday 18th Marsh to Sunday 21st Marsh 2010, Surfrider Foundation Europe is organizing the 15th edition of the “Ocean Initiatives”, the largest eco-friendly weekend in Europe.
 

Open to all (general public, schoolchildren, companies, etc.), this event aims at bringing the impact of marine and seashore waste to the attention of our elected representatives, the authorities and the companies.
 
Inviting everyone to join us at the beaches, lakes and rivers will allow to quantify the volumes of waste collected and gather citizens’ signatures.
 
Surfrider Europe will attend the European Maritime Day in order to take its demands concerning macro-waste to the Members of the European Parliament on 20th May 2010 in Gijón in Spain.
